Jonathan Yaron, president and CEO of Enigma Inc., a leading aftermarket software company, will be speaking on a panel discussion titled “Compliance in the Digital Age” at the MRO Americas : conference on April 23, 2009 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, TX.
The panel will focus on industry standards for compliance with Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations. Mr. Yaron will be joined by fellow panelist, Carol Giles who is the manager of the Aircraft Maintenance Division of the FAA. The panel will be moderated by Mark Yerger, vice president of engineering for Federal Express.
“Information technology has evolved to affect all aspects of aircraft maintenance : , from technical publications to digital sign-offs on job cards : ,” said Jonathan Yaron, president and CEO of Enigma, Inc. “Many regulations were written with the assumption that records would be kept on paper. As Airlines and MRO shops embrace the latest technology solutions, all parties---the IT vendors, OEMs, operators, MRO shops and the FAA---must agree on how to assure compliance while keeping pace with the technology.”
At the conference, Enigma will demonstrate advanced solutions in the Oracle exhibition booth, featuring a joint solution with the Oracle® Complex MRO : application for maintenance planning, engineering and service. The combination of the Enigma 3C Platform with Oracle® Complex MRO provides maintenance planners and technicians complete, accurate and timely information at every phase of the MRO process. Specifically designed for servicing airline, aerospace and defense equipment, the Enigma-Oracle solution helps decrease maintenance turn times, increase asset availability and improve regulatory compliance.
