MAYSVILLE, Kentucky, U.S.A. — Patrick O’Connor has joined Carlson Software Inc. as Australia-Pacific Regional Sales Director. Headquartered in Brisbane, Australia, O’Connor will be working to service existing Carlson relationships with the region’s dealers of field surveying, civil engineering, construction, mining and other land development industries and to expand these throughout the area.

Carlson develops technically advanced software and integrated hardware providing full project life cycle solutions to the land development professional.
O’Connor brings to Carlson nearly 30 years of experience in the survey and mapping industry. O’Connor’s surveying expertise comes from years of experience in the land, hydrographic, photogrammetric, mapping and engineering aspects. Following years of survey fieldwork, he moved into the sales side, both supporting and selling equipment for surveyors and has had extensive experience with Sokkia, Trimble, Leica, Sercel, Ashtech and Topcon equipment.
“I welcome this opportunity to contribute to expanding Carlson’s business in Australia and the Pacific markets,” says O’Connor. “I think my experience will blend well with the broad spectrum of survey and engineering products that Carlson has and continues to develop.”
