More than 200 Sessions in Communications, Financial Services, Health Sciences, High Tech, Insurance, Manufacturing, Public Sector/Higher Education, Retail and Utilities to be Featured
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif -- The upcoming Oracle(R) OpenWorld San Francisco 2008 conference, to be held September 21 - 25 at Moscone Center, will offer attendees an extended range of specialized industry programming.
The number of conference sessions has been expanded to 218 within eight industry tracks covering communications, financial services, health sciences, high tech, manufacturing, public sector/higher education, retail and utilities.

Oracle will formally introduce Oracle Insurance, the company's newest industry global business unit, on Tuesday, September 23 at 9:00 a.m. PDT at The Westin San Francisco, Market Street.
Each industry will host its own Leaders Circle, an invitation-only session where c-level executives can meet with Oracle executives to discuss the state of the industry and how Oracle can continue supporting its customers' business endeavors.
"In recent years, Oracle has expanded its offering of industry- specific solutions through acquisitions as well as in-house development. Our expanded industries programming is reflective of the increased importance that Oracle places on its industry communities," said Tania Weidick, vice president of events marketing, Oracle.
