Company Creates More Than 110 Jobs for Ireland at New Shared Services, Sales, and Marketing Centre in Dublin.
DUBLIN, Ireland – The Minister for Enterprise, Jobs, and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, today welcomed the continued commitment by Bentley Systems, Incorporated, the leading company dedicated to providing comprehensive software solutions for sustaining infrastructure, to its Irish operation. The company currently employs 110 people at its Shared Services, Sales, and Marketing Centre in its Europe, Middle East, and Africa headquarters. The new centre was established in Dublin, Ireland, less than 18 months ago. Bentley plans to add more high-quality jobs at the centre in the coming months.
Staffed by multilingual finance and administrative personnel, sales and marketing professionals, technical support, and product engineers, the Dublin location helps Bentley deliver outstanding service to its users and fulfill its mission of sustaining infrastructure within a global context. The establishment of the centre was facilitated by the Irish government with the aid of IDA Ireland.
Commenting on the positive growth of Bentley’s Irish operation, Minister Bruton said, “Bentley initially decided to locate this operation in Ireland in late 2009 and in that short period of time has experienced significant growth. Bentley’s continued commitment to its Irish operation and its plan to add more jobs in the coming months are welcome news for Ireland’s services sector. Ireland’s ability to attract companies of the caliber of Bentley can be attributed to our talented workforce and successful track record in the services sector. On behalf of the Irish government I wish to offer this dynamic and exciting company every support as it grows its Irish operations into the future.”
Ed Mueller, Bentley chief marketing officer, said, “This is an exciting time for Bentley as we showcase our new facility and introduce our new colleagues to the team from IDA Ireland, which was instrumental in making this a reality. Our new Shared Services, Sales, and Marketing Centre will, indeed, help Bentley continue to provide world-class service, deliver enhanced efficiencies, and effectively support its users in many regions across the globe.”
IDA Ireland CEO Barry O’Leary said, “I am gratified to see Bentley’s many new colleagues in place. Bentley is a cutting-edge, vibrant company, and its new multilingual, skilled workforce is sure to contribute to its success. Services innovation is a target growth area for us, and I am impressed with how quickly this operation came together and formed a team from largely local talent. I look forward to offering continued support to Bentley as it grows its operations here in Ireland.”
