ST. LOUIS — Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, Inc. announced today the opening of its 15th engineering consulting office, in the New York City metropolitan area. The new office will service the growing demand for engineering services in the region. Located in Rockland County, the office is a short commute to dozens of consumer products and pharmaceutical clients located in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The Design Group’s New York office specializes in industrial automation, process control, software design, regulatory compliance and other technology services for the food, beverage and life sciences industries.
“The Design Group has had a team of dedicated professionals in the New York / North New Jersey area for many years, successfully supporting local client relationships,” stated Michael Bauer, Managing Partner of the firm’s Northeast Region. “This new office will provide us with a hub for continued growth, and it serves as an ongoing commitment to our clients in the region.”
The Design Group’s New York office will work closely with its Philadelphia office location and the firm’s other 13 offices. “Our New York office will further expand our ability to offer local support services to the substantial base of life sciences and consumer products clients in the mid-Atlantic region,” stated Joseph Wilhelm, Design Group Managing Partner. “It will initially house 12 professionals, with the expectation to exceed 20 professionals in the next few years.”
“This office further solidifies our presence in the New York / New Jersey region,” Bauer concluded. “We look forward to additional growth as we expand our resources and service offerings to support our existing relationships and engage with new clients in the region.”
