Mumbai: Geometric Limited, a provider of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Engineering Services and Offshore Product Development (OPD) solutions and technologies, today announced that its automated design for manufacturing product, DFMPro was awarded as a top innovation in science and technology at Innovations 2010.
Innovations is an annual event conducted by the Pune Chapter of IIT Bombay Alumni Association to recognize novel ideas in science and technology. This year, twelve top innovations across the country were selected for the Innovations 2010 award spanning across medicine, agriculture, engineering technology (mechanical, electronic, chemical), and IT products.
On receiving the accolade, Mr. Bhaskar Sinha, Product Manager, DFMPro said, “Our focus at Geometric has always been to constantly innovate to help our customers to improve productivity, improve quality, and reduce cost. We are honored to be recognized as the top innovators for the second time at the event”.
Innovations 2010 event was held in January at Pune, India, where all the winning entries, including DFMPro, were also showcased.
