Phoenix: The Open Design Alliance (ODA) today announced a new partnership with Aftercad Software to expose core technical graphics solutions and tools that handle complex visual elements to the streamlining of Software as a Service (SaaS) technology.
The ODA chose Aftercad, a long-standing ODA member, to partner with because of their development of new implementations and technologies with SaaS technology and their ability to deliver visual solutions.
The ODA and Aftercad will jointly develop software prototypes for demonstration purposes using both technologies.
Arnold van der Weide, ODA President, stated, “While SaaS may be relatively new to the technical graphics and CAD industries, adopting new technology and offering more opportunities to our ODA members is a core part of our component strategy. The collaboration with Aftercad opens new paths for innovation and success for our members.”
Christopher Boothroyd, CEO of Aftercad Software, added, “This collaboration with the ODA highlights their leadership and promotion of choice in the CAD industry. We are actively engineering solutions for ODA members and look forward to working more closely with the ODA and its members.”
