IRVINE, Calif – EON Reality has announced together with GDI, and local support team that effective Virtual Reality solutions is now being accessible for customers in China. A growing awareness of Virtual Reality technologies is fast catching up on the Chinese market.
The "aerospace Virtual Reality simulation system", is a recent project for increased design, control, testing and launching of new materials and technologies in satellites, missiles and other aircrafts, initiated in collaboration with School of Aerospace Materials Engineering and the National University of Defence Technology. The simulation system, constituted by three single-channel projection systems along with a single three-dimensional wall system is used for a variety of experimental operations and scientific research. An auxiliary display projection screen is located on both sides to display real-time data transformation parameters of equipment, instrumentation and information in virtual scenes in accordance with the three-dimensional scenes projected in the middle.
The system uses EON Professional, a virtual production platform, combined with EON Icatcher, a stereoscopic display and peripheral interactive solution. It consists of a set of unified graphic cluster systems for management and control, ensuring real-time data of the scene and synchronization in transmission; it also combines high-end interactive device motion capture Intersense IS-900, allowing users to experience the true "virtual reality" feeling.
"We see a tremendous growth for the use of Virtual Reality in China, specifically for education and commercial use,” said Catherine Li Yunxia, Business Development Manager for the Chinese market at EON Reality. She continued "EON Reality along with GDI offers end-to-end Virtual Reality solutions to support the educational user base and customer technology needs. Our vision is to grow a strong commercial market base."
