Manufacturing design technology consultant M2 Technologies announced they were chosen as one of seven MSD providers in the US and Canada to receive authorization for Algor FEA products. Autodesk recently acquired Algor, strengthening the Autodesk solution for Digital Prototyping with new advanced simulation functionality, including multiphysics, mechanical event simulation and fluid flow.
Algor is a leading provider of analysis and simulation software that is used for product design and development in the automotive, aerospace, medical, consumer products, defense, energy and utilities industries.
“Algor will add significant new capabilities to virtually testing and predicting the impact of real world conditions like heat and pressure on product designs.” said M2 Principal, Matthew Burke “Algor’s accurate, easy-to-use analysis and simulation tools will allow mechanical engineers to make better, safer products at a lower cost and in turn, allow us to deliver increased value to our clients.”
With this new product offering, M2 expands its solution set, providing engineers with the opportunity to perform even more sophisticated analysis based on real-world structural and thermal conditions.
M2 will be offering free webinars on Algor’s new products. During the webinars they will give an overview of the products, features and address integration questions.
