BELLEVUE, Wash — Tecplot, Inc. today announced that the latest Windows versions of Tecplot 360 and Tecplot Focus are ready for the October release of Windows 7, Microsoft’s latest operating system.
“We’ve tested Tecplot 360 2009 and Focus 2009 on the Windows 7 RTM version and verified they work,” said Mike Peery, Tecplot, Inc. President and CEO. “So, Windows users on our 2009 versions will not encounter any issues if they migrate to Windows 7.”
Tecplot 360, the company’s flagship product, is Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) visualization and analysis software that combines vital engineering plotting and advanced data visualization into one tool. Tecplot Focus is engineering plotting software designed to help users quickly plot, analyze and present engineering and test data.
“Our users have always given us high marks for our products’ flexibility and usability. But our ability to respond quickly to changes in the marketplace can be just as important to them,” said Peery. “Being Windows 7-ready is another example of our ongoing commitment to customers. Platforms
Tecplot 360 2009 is available for Windows 7, Vista, and XP (32- and 64-bit), Mac OS X (32- and 64-bit), Linux (32- and 64-bit), and most major UNIX platforms.
Tecplot Focus 2009 is available for Windows 7, Vista, and XP (32- and 64-bit), Mac OS X (32- and 64-bit), and Linux (32- and 64-bit).
