Chinese design and construction companies choose MagiCAD

MagiCAD is now being selected as design tool by well-known Chinese design and construction companies.

Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG), Shanghai Construction Group (SCG), China Building Technique Group Co., Ltd (CBTGC) and Shandong Electrical Power Engineering Consulting Institute (SDEPCI) have compared different CAD software alternatives, and chosen MagiCAD as their design tool.

BUCG reference constructions include 19 Olympic projects such as the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest), the National Indoor Stadium and the Olympic Village. The company has more than 30,000 employees.

SCG references include the Lu Pu Bridge, a steel-arch bridge with the longest span in the world, Shanghai Maglev, the world’s first commercial maglev line, the East China Sea Bridge and the 468-m high Oriental Pearl TV Tower, one of the symbolic emblems of Shanghai, China.

CBTGC is a state-owned enterprise, financed and owned by the China Academy of Building Research. It’s business scope comprises research, engineering, construction and trade, both within China and overseas.

SDEPCI is a consulting company that has signed the first long-term MagiCAD contract. SDEPCI holds the highest level of qualification for the energy sector. MagiCAD will be used in its upcoming nuclear power station project which is being managed in cooperation with Westinghouse Electric Company.
