DUBUQUE, Iowa – Eagle Point Software Corporation announced the introduction of a new version of LANDCADD™ that fully integrates landscape design within the BIM workflow. By leveraging the Autodesk® Revit® Architecture platform and directly locating LANDCADD’s plant, hardscape and site components into the building model, firms will have a more complete design earlier in the project process.
"Understanding the need for an integrated, multi-disciplinary design process earlier in the BIM workflow, we are providing a set of landscape design tools for Autodesk’s Revit Architecture", explains Luis Rojas, Architecture Product Line Manager at Eagle Point. "We see that these tools will help clients bridge a gap between the traditional design workflow and the BIM workflow. Furthermore, making the plants and other landscaping objects part of the Revit BIM model benefits project stakeholders downstream."
Pricing and Availability
LANDCADD for Revit will be available for purchase beginning in mid-August with shipping to start in October 2009. For more information, please contact Eagle Point at 1-800-678-6565 or your Autodesk reseller.
