Japanese IT Solutions Provider Forum 8 now distributes the 3D Allplan planning software for architects and engineers in Asia. Both companies have signed an agreement recently in Tokyo. The cooperation is an important step in the expansion of international business and gives the growth strategy of Nemetschek Allplan further impetus.
Forum 8 caters to Asian suppliers of IT solutions and services for the construction industry and has its own 3D solution (UC-win) for road construction. The company, headquartered in Tokyo has other offices in Japan and China employs 150 people and has more than 12,000 customers.
Under the agreement with Nemetschek Allplan, Forum 8 will sell Allplan Architecture and Engineering in Japan . The solution supports the entire planning process - from architectural design to construction planning to the sound reinforcement and design. The development of other markets such as China will be taken up from 2010. Already in the first few weeks, Forum 8 has achieved first sales successes and numerous new customers.
The market demands BIM
