HOUSTON, TEXAS – COADE announced today the release of CAESAR II Version 5.20, an updated edition of the world’s most widely used pipe stress analysis package. New codes in this latest edition include ISO-14692 for the analysis of fiber reinforced piping (FRP) and 10 additional wind codes for the analysis of static load setup. Also included are updated piping codes for B31.1, B31.8, GPTC/Z380, AME NC and ASME ND, plus the permitted number of static load cases is increased from 99 to 999. International features include the addition of the Mexican seismic code to the dynamic input module for the automated generation of response spectra and partial implementation of Japanese piping codes, JPI and HPGSL (High-Pressure Gas Safety Law).
New productivity features in CAESAR II Version 5.20 include a loop optimization wizard for easier expansion loop design and a seismic wizard for determining the G factor in static seismic loading conditions for three codes. Among many other enhancements in the release are improvements to the buried pipe modeler and the valve/flange insertion routine.
